I bet if you scroll down through your Facebook you will see a handful of selfies..... Am I wrong? Cause mine is stuffed with them. Some are cute, funny, romantic, and down right sexy! I hear non stop complaints about these photos coming from people, and it burns me up.
Don't get me wrong after about 5 day yeah, you can say little much, but for the most part people posting these pictures have a sense of attractiveness in this picture. Whether you are dolled up in sky high heels, or cuddled in sweats, you feel good about yourself in this picture, so you post it. THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT. If you felt ugly, or unattractive you wouldn't want to plaster it on your wall. Come on, it is no different then your mom or grandma showing off those "cute" "timeless" "priceless" whatever label pictures of you as a kid to your new boyfriend. If they were embarrassing ( there is always one of you on the toilet or naked in the bath tub without fail) you don't want them to see it. But when you look good you rock that picture. Same with selfies. It is YOUR Facebook, plaster what you want. Girls, if your killin it in that brand new dress, post it. Guys, if you look hot with your after workout hair, show it off. If people don't like it, they have options, like the DELETE button. Facebook is a SOCIAL MEDIA site. AKA, bragging site. They say it is to stay connected, but we tend to use it for other things like #SELFIES !!!!
Never feel bad about feeling good about your self. Be the best YOU, that you can be. As Taylor swift will blast in our ears " haters gunna hate " you can't stop them. That is THEIR problem, not yours. Remember that old saying" if you can't love yourself, then how can you expect others to?" That applies to this. Be proud of who you are. Show of those sexy heels you just got a great deal on at Marshalls. Show the world you are fun by posting a girlfriend selfie at the bar. Brag that you kicked some major butt in poker with the guys last Thursday night. ENJOY it. One day we will all be older, grayer, and not so photogenic. BE YOU!!!!
Thank you!!!
