Today is a prime reason I want to blog. Well in the last two weeks I have completely ruined two bras. One got pushed through to the dryer (huge sigh, and slap to the forehead for that) and the other was just so over worn the color was never coming back to it. So for a little pick me up I decided to go shopping for some new ones. Shopping is on the same level that therapy is for some. I enjoy shopping, but once again I was easily reminded what a nightmare it can sometimes be. I walked right in to the Lingerie section to find cute bras just hanging everywhere. In booby basket heaven right? WRONG! | The pink and black lacy one, I wanted in a bad way. Super cute! Not in my size. NEXT There was a blue and teal polka-dot one. Very much me. Not according to the size rack though. Moving on Then there was a leopard spotted one. OMG must have! However, the sizes were 32 A 32B 34 C ( getting closer) 36 A & B back to 34 A HMMM bummer right! BIG TIME. So I ended up leaving and going to another favorite spot of mine for clothes. Yet again I was rejected by that all mighty size chart. Well not totally, if I needed a bra in White, nude, black or brown, well hey I was in luck, 38 D fit right in over there. I know there are plenty of ladies that have been through this bra cycle . Its almost like we are being punished for being bigger in the chest. Now let me back up a second and explain what I mean better. Yes we all still need to have a white and black bras, any of the neutral colors in fact, but how come big breasted woman can ONLY find colors such as that most of the time? How come we don't get to be playful and fruity with our undergarments? All of us are beautiful, but how can we feel that way about ourselves if we ALL don't get those chances? If options are made in general, they NEED to be made for all! How many of you have experienced this? Please tell me what happened in the comment box provided. Would love to hear the stories! Until next readers, I hope you enjoy this one! XOXO ~Sammi ~ |
